The sound is pretty harsh compared to many of the other drivers out there for 2008. Other than that though, I love this club. The ball comes off the face hot and I am able to work the ball easily both ways and vary the trajectory. Started with a Graphite Design Pershing Shaft and have since switched to the Grafalloy Epic Shaft. Love the new shaft and the flight. Much straighter as well.

I wanted to like this club, but I thought the sound was worse the the FT-3. I just could not make this work. I'm usually a high ball hitter, but I couldn't get the ball high enough to perform. Could be the shaft/head combo. Oh well.

I loved my FT-3 and FT-5. My FT-5, however, is 8.5 with draw face. I am very accurate with it but feel a higher loft would benefit me more. I am thinking of trading with a for a Hyper X 10 degree just for higher loft, but love the FT-5!
